PETU POS · RESTAURANT OPERATIONS
Restaurant Sales Analytics from POS Records
Restaurant analytics should make the underlying period and source data clear. Petu POS reports use orders recorded by the outlet and provide date-range views and item summaries.
01
Reports available in the POS
The sales report can filter recorded orders by periods such as today, this week, last week, this month, the last seven days or a custom range. It shows paid-order counts, recorded sales and average check, and can export sales and cancellations.
The item report ranks products by units sold for the selected range and includes revenue and paid-check counts.
02
Interpret data in context
Reports only reflect transactions entered into this outlet. Compare the selected date range with the same local operating period and consider missing or externally handled orders before drawing conclusions.
03
Use a routine review
At close, reconcile recorded payments, review cancelled checks and compare prominent item sales with stock and menu decisions. Use exports when your existing accounting process requires a separate record; reports do not replace bookkeeping.
